To be precise: It‘s not cheating, it‘s exploiting...there’s a difference. Cheating is a bannable offense, exploiting isn’t as long as the developer stays quiet about it. Only if they say it’s a bannable offense to exploit the bug, then it’s considered as cheating. Example: Backing out of Trials Matchmaking in Y2.
Does it matter that they exploited to get World’s First instead of cheating? No. Both are shitty moves and both should be a reason to say „F*ck you, you‘re not World‘s First!“. It‘s not legit at all.
