Making the Gunsmith live up to its name: CUSTOM WEAPONS (Just hear me out!)

It would be awesome to have more costomizable things in destiny, although I know they are already improving from Destiny 1. HERE IS A WAY TO DO IT: A player walks up to Banshee-44 in the tower and selects the custom weapon Icon on his menu. From there the player chooses one of the basic weapon types (auto rifle, scout rifle, sniper, etc.). The player then chooses a shell for the weapon (the outside appearance) from options like 'Hakke standard auto rifle' or some other non-exotic/legendary-specific shell. then, the player can add - not mods - but attatchments to their base weapon. The more attatchments, the more expensive. There could also be a menu where players can increase their firerate while reducing its other stats proportionally to keep it realistic. The player could name it, and pick the color(s), and maybe even save it as a 'Blueprint' they can access from the gun-builder at any time on any of their characters. Someone also mentioned a gun range. This could be accessed from the useless little basement room right below Banshee-44. This would be truly awesome to see Bungie! Hope this gets seen! Edit: Based on ideas being tossed around on the forum and a few ideas of my own, I think having a blueprint system, a weapon stats system based on points, and some side quests based on custom weapons would majorly improve the game. Blueprints: Any weapon in the game can be taken to Banshee-44 and dismantled to unlock it's blueprint. Once a blueprint is unlocked, a player can access it at the drafting kiosk near the Gunsmith counter. A blueprint can be used as many times as desired once unlocked. The player opens the kiosk and using the system outlined above, chooses the class and model, tweaks the stats (see next section) and chooses 2 attatchments. The player then creates their own custom default shader for that particular weapon, saves the blueprint, and selects the 'print' option. Their customized blueprint is put into their inventory and they visit Banshee-44 to get it built, paying, not only in glimmer & legendary shards, but also in many different materials needed for their particular attatchments, which can be found on different planets or from particular types of enemies. Weapon Stats system: If weapon stats were based on a system of points, many issues could be resolved, both in this proposal and in the existing game. Each individual stat of a weapon (stability, range, etc.) has a limit of 100 pts. (a full bar being 100), and the weapon as a whole cannot exeed a set number of total stat-points. So when the player alters the stats of their gun to fit their playstyle, they must remove just as many points as they add. Meaning if they add 30 pts. to stability, they must remove points from any of the gun's other stats so that the total number of points is the same as before. This eleminates the risk of players creating rediculously overpowered weapons, and would also give Bungie some spectacular insight into balancing any of the rest of the game's weapons that need work. Side Quests: When tha player recieves their completed weapon from Banshee-44, it is an uncommon weapon. By killing enemies/guardians with their weapon and by completing steps in a side quest generated for that specific weapon, the player earns telemetry data which can be used to level up the weapon, over time developing it from uncommon to rare, and from rare to legendary. When the weapon develops from uncommon to rare, the player is able to add another attatchment. When it progresses from rare to legendary, one more attatchment is unlocked, and one empty mod-socket is also unlocked. This also gives players something to develop, gives them something that they can begin working on while they await the DLCs.
