Cabal Breathing
Cabal don't breath our atmosphere, right? It says in the Grimoire that they wear highly pressurized suits to simulate their atmosphere and gravity. Then why do some Cabal, like Ghaul, the Consul, or some Centurions not have full masks? The Consul doesn't even wear one! And Ghaul only has a mask to cover his mouth, and Centurions don't even have a mask to cover their mouths on Earth. This topic is puzzling me.

There's a generator or something in Smidur's Cavern in the EDZ that you can scan with your ghost. The comments about it mention that "the cabal don't breathe our atmosphere"

Maybe the centurions have something like the psions (that weird energy that protects their exposed head until you shoot it) to help them breath without their mouth covered.

So, it would make sense that they can breathe on earth, since our world isn't high-gravity like theirs. If you go into a poisonous area with poison gases, you would wear a gas mask, the speaker is always the anomaly but it only mentions high gravity. That also mounts the problem of the speaker again. So in the end it is probably so we can recognize characters and not constantly see a helmet and identify our enemy better.

Consul is only seen on the cabal ship pretty much, and the half masks do the job well enough I guess.

It could be a lot of stuff! Due to their rank, maybe they have some sort of field generator that causes the right conditions around them, so they don't have to wear anything! Or maybe a chemical they can shoot up with to allow them to breathe our atmosphere. Whatever it is, it wouldn't be disseminated to the rank and file, probably due to cost and expendability.
