In case you didn't know, Worlds First cheated
There's another clip floating around of him doing the same glitch at the dogs so it's safe to assume that they did it throughout the whole raid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Coil glitching is when you switch to the Wardclif Coil, pick up one block of heavy, switch to a different heavy and you'll have max ammo for the one you just equipped.
Cozmo's Official Response: "We have seen the reports that an ammo exploit was used today in the Prestige Raid. This was not the specific exploit we were checking for and we don’t currently have the ability to detect it. Tomorrow we will release the top 3 finishers in the TWAB. You can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated."

Everybody that‘s cool with this would also be cool with using the no enemy spawn glitch at Calus. I wonder why no one tried it to get worlds first if no one cares if people use glitches.

4 RepliesBottom line is they didn't cheat. If Bungie knew how to code this game then we'd be getting power ammo from all the yellow bars like they said we would. Unfortunately that doesn't happen so instead they use the same flawed coding and swap weapons to get more ammo. Its more of a strategy if anything.

Sad and interesting since there is video proof (and clear audio) of them engaging in cheating, whether or not they will all be banned or anything or as they bring revenue for the game nothing will happen. All those videos they posted in the past and all they will post in the future will now just be giant lols, as you know they are bogus. Makes you wonder about all the other streamers and what interesting glitches they are doing to do all this bs like soloing the nightfall 5 minutes after it comes out and all the other stuff....

But Bungie’s response speaks to EXACTLY what a lot of players who have complained for YEARS about rampant cheating have said about Bungie- THEY DON’T CARE. There is clear video evidence of this exploit being used by multiple members of that fire team and all they say is: “Meh we didn’t see it.” Yet these cheaters/exploiters will be given their Endgame hug by DeeJ in his ridiculous TWAB drivel and announced as Worlds First. What a joke and utter laziness on Bungie’s part.

Cozmo's / bungie response to this is pretty much an admission on their behalf that: - they know the ammo economy in their -blam!-ing game is currently broken - they know that ammo shortages that were criticized in the beta are still an issue, especially in raid and some strikes phases that are tantamount to horde mode add cluster-blam!-s and that bullet-sponge yellow bars DO NOT always drop ammo (their supposed "fix" based on beta feedback) - that they know they should have known better and should have seen this coming when they removed synths, nerfed damage output on all heavy weapons, and turned shielded adds in bullet sponges - that if they actually performed proper playtesting with more varied groups than the usual bunch of in-house try-hard neckbeards who probably worked on designing these encounters, and acted on that "3rd party" feedback BEFORE releasing wanna-be-3l1t3 shit out there, then no one would even bother with dumb ass exploits like this. Destiny 2 Raiding ladies and gentlemen... No CP. No loot. No ammo. Funtimes!

1 ReplyWhether anyone wants to call it cheating or not is their call, I would say it is a fair argument to say it shouldn't be allowed as you are pulling ammo out of thin air basically, However it has already been proven that over 80% of the teams in the top 20 used the glitch at some point in the raid. Including 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd places. Is it still cheating? Probably, but the majority of the teams used it. Does that negate the fact though? probably not, but I feel like there were far to many groups that used it (both teams that were competing for WF, and just casually) to justify single-ing out a team that used it whilst also finishing in first. All 3 teams that are going to be listed in the TWaB used the glitch. Which is probably why Cosmo said what he said in regards to who we should consider the actual winner. Take it or leave it, Just my 2 cents on the argument

It flat out sucks for pve and the raid . It also shows that bungie really doesn’t give a shit or else someone at bungie would’ve or should’ve watched for those issues before they announced them as the worlds first . There we go again bungie supporting cheaters. Lookout you might get a forum ban for naming and shaming. Can you imagine the bs on pc .... now that’s going to be fun to watch .

9 RepliesYeah I'm not considering them worlds first, I was watching slayerage stream and the 'Mruniverse08' guy or whatever his name was, repeatedly died at baths because a lack of ammo prevented him from killing effectively. If he had used coil glitch then they wouldn't of lost so much time.
