Try the fireteam search on the app it works fairly well. Not all clans suck. I do Damn near every milestone with clanmates, including multiple raid clears. Search for a clan that uses a 3rd party app to stay connected and schedule events. That works much better than the clunky messaging thing they gave us. Also regarding clans, realise that you only get out what you put in . Constantly asking for help and not being social is going to net you a terrible experience. Help others and be social and you will soon find yourself clearing content and having fun no problem.
