PLEASE BRING BACK RANDOM PERK ROLLS FOR MOST GUNS!!!!! upvote
I put so many hours in Destiny 1 searching for that perfect roll on a gun and armor and it WAS SO SATISFYING TO GET IT! Having a weapon that is unique compared to other peoples was so great and made the game fun and much more long term playable. Same way with the class perks and.being able to switch them around. WHY WHY RUIN THE GAME DESTINY 2 BUNGIE??? I am already sick of d2. I cant believe you would make this game for new people and basically crap on your loyal fans and all thd things we.loved!!!!!! BRING BACK CUSTOMIZATION!!!! RANDOM ROLLS FOR WEAPONS AND ARMOR!!! MIX AND MATCH FOR SUPER TREES!!!! I hate you for ruining this game. I shouldve never spent my money on it.

Not going to lie, I hated the random perks for weapons. Sure, when you EVENTUALLY did get the God roll you wanted it was a awesome feeling, but grinding for that possibility was annoying for me. I never got my God roll Eyasluna after months of trying. I also like you don't have to fully upgrade guns to unlock all the perks. I think Bungie did a decent job with D2 weapons.

[/quote] No one wanted a "unique" roll in D1, everyone was trying for the exact same set of perks on a specific piece of gear, whether that was grinding for an Eyasluna or re-rolling a Felwinter's Lie.

While i"m not too much on the idea of having randomized rolls on weapons i do believe we should be able to pay legendary shard's or glimmer or different rolled guns with set perks. the whole reason for that change in D2 was that in D1 people would yell and complain about someone's god rolled Eysaluna hand cannon out beating there's. it was a way of saying if someone beat you with an auto rifle and your using the same one, then you only have your self to blame and no one else. bringing back randomized rolls on the weapons you get will only cause trouble again. But i will say that after our third or fourth weapon we should be rewarded with a different roll on it with those perks set in stone for everyone.

For [i][u]ALL[/u][/i] guns except for the raid weapons. All raid and trials weapons should have static rolls!

Or you spend 5 or 10 legendary shards, making them not useless, to re-roll the perks on the weapon [i][b][u]once[/u][/b][/i]. You like explosive rounds on better devils? Great. You want something else? Spend 10 legendary shards to change it up. People who like the static perks can keep them, people who want random rolls can re-roll weapons. Or you could make it so you get perk mods that you apply to your weapon, either way.

Even the perks in later Destiny got real lackluster (Exhumed, Guerilla fighter) while the best ones (Field Scout) got nerfed or taken out. Strong perks and random rolls do nothing but make the game more fun. They seem to think it would break the game to decouple pve from pvp, but I really wish they would. Then we could get elemental primaries back. (and all the other stuff that made early Destiny worth playing).
