Can be broken by conventional weapon fire
It could in Destiny 1 as well.
Only supplies armor of light, blessing and weapons of light have been removed

Cannot generate more orbs as it is continually damaged
That perk is missing.
Death usually accompanies a nova bomb that was thrown from outside onto the shield, which makes no sense
Same in D1. one nova bomb leaves behind a AoE field, the Slovabomb Has tracking scatter grenades after the initial explosion. So that's what is killing you.

I’ve never seen a bubble break from conventional weapon fire. I’ve only seen it go down to supers and boss weapons.

All of this is true minus the conventional fire from D1, it could only be broken by another super charge in D1

It could be broken by convential weapons fire in D1, but it was a seriously ridiculous amount of damage that was required. And from what ive seen, I die immediately after the bubble is broken by a nova bomb, but my teammates remain standing.
