Bungie please buff hunters. upvote this please

Hunters are just underpowered overall... the dodge, supers... I'd rather have bladedancer back with blink rather than the arcstrider because the arcstrider sucks and has no lunge and is slow and arcstrider dodge should have invincibility frames not the "you are harder to kill" (spoiler alert you wont see the difference between normal dodge and "you are harder to kill"). The gunslinger super is super underpowered too. 3 Shots. If you are a titan or a warlock what if you only had 3 shots on your hammers or dawnblade and it would take 2 shots for you to break through a barricade what would that be like. The duration of the six shots is way too short keep in mind the gg has damage fall off and the 3 shot has little to no aim assistance. The tether is also underpowered. its duration is way too short and it can be shot for it to be destroyed even faster it can't kill on impact and tethered enemies can fight back I have been killed many times by the enemies that were tethered I think the range and durability and duration of tether should be increased and the hunter shooting the tether(s) can easily be killed while shooting the tether(s) it should be instant like with hammers or dawnblade. ( think about what it would be like if you had to charge hammers or dawnblade before each shot) The dodge. I think hunters could get full hp when starting the dodge and a couple invincibility frames or full hp+ overshield and those combined with what we have right now. dodge should be faster and it should go further away and if dodge is used mid air it should drop the user instantly and partially reload kinda like the dawnblades ability when you drop and heal. Maybe hunters should have a normal dodge when the class ability isn't ready and the dodge would have no benefit, just a dodge. end. Please upvote if you agree with anything. Edit: Ok I went over the top here. These were just ideas I had at the time of writing to buff the hunter and I admit some of them were too crazy. I didn't expect this many people to see this and I didn't expect this much salt. And the most crazy part is that someone disliked this so much that he is keeping the upvotes at 0 (says he has 30 accounts). So yeah... Umm... Thank you all for showing your opinion on this thread.

    • I strongly disagree, consistently dodged down a hallway with 2 people shooting at me while I was arcstrider and I killed the both of them. The harder to kill perk is very helpful. Also are you sure you weren’t either weak or missed your shots on the tethered target? Otherwise you shouldn’t have lost that.. Also GG is the best dps super in the game. Celestial Nighthawk with gg is the only super that can 1 Phase Calus. Also with tether you can get infinite supers with Orpheus rig. They really aren’t underpowered, just need to be good with the hunters specific skill sets, just like every other class.

    • Gunslinger Its perfectly fine with 3 shots considering how easy it is to hit your shots and for the amount of time granted to you. Void Bow This subclass is supossed to be tactical and if the arrow one shot you it would be stupidly op especially if you had mobius quiver. Arcstrider A speed boost upon super activation would be nice but the subclass already has a perk that increases speed all the time so extra speed would be a little ridiculous In general the only tweak i would make with the hunter is to give the dodge a faster cooldown by a couple of seconds.

      • I never understood why people think dodge is underpowered. It saved my life dozens of time in PvE and PvP and the perks for auto reload and/or invisibility are pretty neat, too.

      • I can't read your text, you need bullet points. So here's my ideas to buff Hunters: Make mobility actually increase sprint speed so we can flank easier. Dodge should have a few invincibility frames and maybe gain 10% health back. Arcstrider... make the super the same speed as quick fang. Add ionic blink to the Arc strider super to get in close fast. Gunslinger is pretty much fine, not sure anything needs buffed. Nightstalker...make the tethers debuff immediately and if I hit someone directly they should die.

        • Although hunters need a buff, this is not the way.I say that bungie makes a rework of hunters, having them be what they were supposed to be: stealthy and fast.

          Finally someone bringing this to our attention. In my opinion hunters are the most underpowered of all classes. They got a huge nerf from D1 when they didn't even need one?! While titans got an unbelievable buff... If anything they are the class that definitely did not need a buff. Hunters are becoming less fun to play because every other class, super, ability, etc. Is better than they are by far.

            • I main a hunter... And honestly if your not making use of the extra mobility that hunters have then that’s when they begin to feel underpowered. I’m constantly jumping and sliding into my engagements so that I get the jump on my enemy. Then there’s dodge. The dodge may seem lackluster at first, but I encourage you to think about how your using it. If your standing out in the open and nowhere near cover, and your losing your gunfight. Then don’t dodge! You will be wasting your dodge. The more effective way to use your dodge is pre-engagement, to hide behind cover mid gunfight (if your staying next to cover), or while being evasive and are dodging attacks. The hunter is for a more advanced player. I know I will receive a lot of salt from that statement, but it’s true. You don’t have a lot of armor to tank shots, and you don’t have a lot of recovery. This means you have to really pick and choose your engagements and not be a mindless run and gunner. You can’t bully your way into gunfight and put up a shield that says this area is mine now (Titan). You can’t put down a rift that says hold down this area and lay down cover fire (warlock). BUT you can use any environment to your advantage and including abilities that your teammates have put down, and opponent Titan shields. (Sounds crazy at first but you can still use it as a shield just don’t touch it). Hunters are the most difficult to master, but once you do you’ll see that your able to use your mobility to manipulate sight lines at will causing you to turn 1v2s and 1v3s in your favor, and sometimes 1v4s if your quick enough.

                For the arcstrider, I think they should just add a lunge, Gunslinger, They seem fine. D1, Gunslinger only had 3 shots and lots of people still used it. Yea they could use more aim assist but Gunslingers are supposed to have good aiming. If you miss twice with it, don't use it. If dodging gave you full health, that would be overpowered, for me I would think they would give you a 10% shield health so when you are under fire, you can dodge to survive a bit longer, or make them do a roll so they will be a little harder to hit them. Overall, the rest was alright. Edit: Also Hunters are for more experienced players and is harder to master. If you are new to Destiny in general, start with titan or warlock, then make hunters last.

              • A lot of these buffs are just way too over the top. If Hunters were to be buffed, the fair solution would be for very subtle improvements so people feel better about playing them over Warlocks/Titans.

              • The dodge could apply a movement speed boost as an example dont use nightstalker in pvp use the presision slot for gunslinger always and arcstrider is a moment of timing and knowledge so please try these and then remake your post
