Destiny 2 - It is a 'Collection Game'

Not even kidding, it has been quoted by the Creative Director himself... http://wccftech.com/destiny-2-director-players-level-capped/ A ton of people quickly and easily hitting max level is a 'good thing'... and this is a 'collection game' now... even though we all know the balancing is -blam!-ed so you're only going to use the current meta anyways. Le sigh... If they like the direction this is going, I worry about the future. I am not happy with either of these changes. A lot of you aren't either. So I ask the question. Do you want Destiny to be an 'Easy Grind; Collection Game?' If you're anything like me, and you still play D2, it's not because you are happy with the current state or the direction it is going, but because there isn't a good alternative right now (I know Warframe but I just couldn't get into it personally). Cannot wait til Anthem drops.

That’s right, you collect the things that come from Bright Engrams. For me, Bungie have lost all credibility as game developers. They can’t pull this back, they had the opportunity to do something incredible with D2, especially with that whole ‘welcome to a world without light’ phrase. I imagined a D2 with a huge, lush open world (just one, no space ships taking up code or other planets with literally nothing on them) a D2 where we’d have to learn new skills and abilities that weren’t infused with light. Hunter with a trapper/stealth subclass, Titan with a tank, barricade type subclass built for protecting and warlock with a toxin based subclass, using ingredients from the wilds to make poisons etc that confuse and disorientated your enemies. A huge campaign about trying to take back what we had from a terrifying legion whilst trying to survive in a beautifully dense and lore rich world that was being infested with more Fallen as they learnt about the travellers capture and..... what’s the point, Bungie are useless
