Someone help me! Please send me info how to contact bungie.
In D2, I have a level 285 chest piece but I also have a piece for my chest that is 290. Every time I try and defuse it to my higher level it literally gives you the red error that my power level is to low when it is clearly higher. I have my 285 equipped I tried unequipping it putting a different piece on cause I know you need at least 3 pieces in your inventory to in fuse it with another. Someone please help me out.

Does the 290 piece have a Legendary Mod equipped? If so, that's giving it +5 Power, but it's [u]base[/u] Power is still 285. In order to infuse items, it's [u]base[/u] Power must be higher.
