Remember back in Destiny 1 where there were lots and lots of viable primaries? Such as Hawkoon, Bad juju, Suros, Palindrome, Doctrine, Nirwens Mercy, Red Death, Shadow Price, No Land, Hung Jury, Thorn, Last word, Grasp of Malok, Clever Dragon, Burning Eye... I could go on and on and on. Now the only primaries you see people using are Mida Multi-tool, Antiope-D, Better Devils, and maybe Origin story every now and then. I miss the times of having a multitude of primaries that were fun to use and felt powerful! I miss when exotics felt like exotics, and I liked it when I could outgun someone with anything I wanted to use. Now it feels like if you aren't using Mida and Uriel's Gift (Or Last Hope), you can't compete with anything! Bungie should NOT nerf the current weapons, but rather buff the other classes of weapons. Hand Cannons, pulse rifles, non 3-burst sidearms, etc... I wish Destiny would have more variety, because crucible isn't fun to me, it's quite boring. And that to me is very disappointing to have such a great game with such great potential be so god awfully boring when it comes to PvP.
