I dont know why people complain you got more gear with this system of iron banner than any other by opening 10 of these engrams.

  • Because people are forgetting that before you had a handful of armor per IB, and unless there was a god roll vendor gun you were getting crap drops in the post match screen for weapons. I quit after five turn ins because work got busy and got four guns and the legs. That's far better than most Iron Banner runs for me. And hell, even if you don't get all the armor, when did you ever have a chance to get a full set in one IB before now?

  • Exactly you had to wait to get the whole set, now it was a chance on how much you try for it but it will be back to try again . I think there are too many people acting like life is over.. over a game trying to be more competative. Same perks on weapons are great because its gun skill now and i see to many people mad because they cant have a shot gun or sniper to camp lanes but forced to go head on in to fight and use the primaries they forgot existed, yet i imagine they complained about the shotgun warriors then. The game has flaws and yes some things feel a step backwards, id like a better story in depth and know more about characters, i felt that was rushed and so many questions need answered and id like a new enemy an exciting one that kinda was like taken king where it was controlling or destroying a race of beings. Heck id like to see the fallen become and ally in a raid or something or we all join forces with cabal, vex, and fallen to fight a threatening evil. Theres so much direction that can be had but the creativity has to be there.

  • Totally missing the point. D1 iron banner rewards were limited but guaranteed. Now they are unlimited and not guaranteed. In D1 it was a grind that had a consistant reward. That's a smart game mechanic that rewards people for playing and contributing to the event popularity while simultaneously allowing people to feel like what they are doing actually pays off in game. Now it's a super duper lazy mechanic that screams "we didnt want to try, so go flip a coin." Having inconsistant rewards for people playing the event disenfranchises people thus reducing the popularity and involvement of the event. It's not about materialism it's about fairness. Thats the essential issue.

  • Actually no. Not even close. The faction rally gave the most gear by leaps and bounds. I would be turning in 100 tokens every hour.
