Error codes, error codes, error codes

I'm going to start this off by telling you straight away, you're either a seriously incompetent developer, or you couldn't care less about your consumers. Can you tell me why you, a huge game developerment company can't handle the task of ensuring a properly working product? Probably not, you'll give me some bs answer about my connection not being good, and I assure you it's great, this is especially apparent when I've tried all your pointless troubleshooting options to ensure it wasn't me. Error code WEASEL, and BABOON, CONSTANTLY!!! I can't even log in for 5 minutes, IF I'm lucky enough to make it past the damn title screen because you don't know how to do your jobs! I could ask for a refund but you won't do that, no no, I'm just going to get a copy and paste response to this because you just don't want to deal with pissed off consumers, . I expect a FULLY functional finished product with MINIMAL issues, you seem to be incapable of that apparently, is this what professional means? You do know a fine tuned, FULLY FUNCTIONAL product is the best way to have return customers and gain a new customer base too right? Doesn't seem like you do. Now, this isn't the end of the world, it's just a game but the thing I'm pissed off about is you, as a company feel the need to just make money while insulting and disrespecting your consumers, and putting in minimal effort to give us just plain crap. You went to college for a reason, suck it up and deal with it you chose the field and the responsibilities that came with it, but apparently it's too much to handle. My favorite part about this is that you keep pushing out content people need to buy as quick as possible, you tweak things in the game like little glitches and weapon damage modifiers, all that fun stuff, but you pay NO attention to the BIG issues that make what could be something great, into something that just plain doesn't work, that simple. You're all about applying all the bandaids in the world but not addressing any underlying problems at their core, it's purely and simply idiotic and completely horrible for business... You have people in YouTube posting videos for fixing game glitches and problems that you, somehow, with all the right tools can't seem to accomplish, that's a skill, but not one you want. So are you going to fix this error code PLAGUE, or are you going to continue ignoring it completely? How about, in the future, if you last until then with this nonsense, you put plenty of TIME and WORK into your product INSTEAD of wasting everyone's money by putting the garbage out. I get it, it's super complex, I admire that, but you need to know how to FIX every part of your machine if you want it to keep working, and I can't respect, nor continue doing business with any company that disrespects their clientele so badly, it's not super to be about the money! It's supposed to be about the PASSION, if you don't have the passion then quit, just stop, and go do something else with your life you do have a passion for.

You need a quality (low latency, not high speed) connection to play Destiny. Other games just shovel a little data back and forth. Destiny is pretty much all processing online. There are, in reality, a small percentage of people talking about the issues - but the majority are fine. If it was an actual server side issue then it would affect everyone; but it doesn't. Wifi is a big no-no for quality gaming (or anything critical) to start with. It is inherently prone to disconnections and interruptions by literally thousand s of different criteria; and it doesn't always recover - it sometimes switches channels on you and that alone is enough to turf (or hiccup) your connection. That is simply how it works - it was never designed to be a reliable connection, but rather a convenience connection. If you live in a condo or apt complex it is compounded exponentially by the fact you have wifi interference all around you pretty much automatically. It may not be your setup either - it could be something up with your ISPs setup, it could be an issue on any one of 10-20 other routing systems it passes through, or it could be something like the fact that not all routers play well with Windows, or XBox, or PS. There are ways to figure out the issue, and maybe there is a way to counteract it. But it comes down to the fact it isn't at Bungie's ed 99% of the time, and when I actually do some in-depth testing with people, we usually find out where the problem lies ... like the fact they have an 80ms latency at the halfway point already, or they have their firewalls on the router set too high, or there is a bottleneck in Tuscon that nobody can do a thing about until they clear it up. There are tons of little things you need to check, and it may take you a week or two to actually figure it all out, but that's the way the internet works - it's not a s perfect as people want to think and you actually have to do some fine tuning and investigation at your own end. Many applications can accommodate small-medium data interruptions, but games with high data processing expectations cannot. Your connection sucks.
