what d 2 lacks comparied to d1

1.the endgame a big thing compared to d1 where the rng and strike with stike specific loot was a thing but d2 there no strike specific loot (if did a specific strike you get a chance at that strike specific weapon) got no reason to run normal strikes. 2.raid feel unpleasant due to the fact you get tokens as reward for gear instead of randomised drop of raid gear from chests. insead you got to go to tower just to see banshee 44 which just wast of time sure you get loot but do you really want to travel to tower when you could be doing different activity ? 3.lack of thing to do after raid and nightfall are finished there fell a lack of reason to carry on playing sure could do adventure but get nothing but blue engrams .also could try running events but has very low chance you getting anything good (solo) and like 4 hours later very little to show for it and very boring 4.pvp feel weak compared to d1 in the fact that it 4v4 instead of 6v6 where d1 pvp was fast passed and never a dull moment where you could reek havoc on unsuspecting players and the pressure and excitement of getting owned but figthing hard back to try get even or win was fun . but d2 it alll sneaky hide run away and just take pot shot at people instead of the full on in your face fight . 5.supers are what different from d1 titans arc ability have rooming super now instead on 1 shot slam .hunter have staff now instead of knife btw staff clumsy and pointless in pvp. warlock lost it extra life and replaced with fire welding sword . warlock void bomb has tracking feature that d1 didn't have / super are so short at you have to rush to use super and half time super run out before can use it to it full potentiality compared to d1 super were much longer in length plus the exotic that could extend them with added time 6.class feel super slow on movement speed since implemented the new stats system and stat system just feel like waste of time where as in d1 you just grind for certain gear that look cool had perk that worked and it was simple not stat implantation required only light was required in d1 but d2 light gone redundant(not need) and it down to stat in d2. 7. weapon system feel horrible and clumsy du the the fact sniper are in heavy weapons and shotgun as to being in secondary slot where it was nice thing to have as a back up weapon in d1 but d2 they in heavy weapons slot and not much use of of secondary 8. weapons d1s were more balanced and felt crisp compared to d2 weapons. d2 pulse shoot slow compared to d1 (get owned by scouts (mida) and few others),hand cannons are slow shooting and have halfed range compared to d1. shotguns are good in general , rocket launcher are awsome ,sidearms have improved compared to d1, and more swords compared to d1 but 0 exotics yet for catagory, auto are good and have main stay of d2 but d1 weapon balancing change how and what we used it us to make diffrence but but d2 weapons just fell left to be disired and not as many weapons as d1 or exotics for that matter (ps what ever happend to heavy mashing guns that were in d1?) 9.exotics wish they keeped some old weapons instead of getting rid of pretty much all good ones,red death ,gallahorn,thorn,vex mythoclast ,z super cell ,monte carlo ,suros regime,ace of spades,hawkmoon,outbreak prime,bad juju, and so on (63 exotic in d1 total that just weapons)(d2 19 weapons at current ) /if bunge had keeped and put them in d2 i would of just grinded for those in d2 plus new weapons .would been fun to get some of old nostalgia going from d1 days with bit of lore from after what happend to tower vault in d2 story / exotic perk dont mesh together with chacracter in d2 / use to have class specific exotics like hunter ace of spades, warlock was scout i think, titan machine gun i think in d1 10. guided games is useless have to wait 15min or more for nightfall raid worse 1hour + / d1 didnt need this . i avoid guided game i still use forum for recruiting to put games together lot fast and more efficient [u][b]final verdict[/b][/u] .all in all d2 lack good endgame content and sustainability and a reason to play again even after completing the activity for the week which is completed in a day or 2 also the lack of gear and lack of systems to sustain d2. another thing is lack of reason to run strike with no real reward or reason to and same goes for pvp

  • So this is D2 compared to Rise of Iron because Vanilla Destiny had all the same issues you listed aside from the class stuff and multiplayer size. D1 had 19 maybe 20 exotics hard to track since DB and HoW count in that list. At least tokens guarantee a drop from Benedict you could go through VoG and get nothing for the whole week. But to sum up your verdict is the same issue D1 had till the first expansions hit.
