Good thing we had that huge beta to root out the bugs a couple of months ago!
Wow it's amazing, and sad, how many people can't see past the literal. This is straight up sarchasm meant to point the finger at that grand hypefest Bungie masked as a beta that could have been an actual, useful beta instead that found actual issues.

"Beta", top KAK bro! 👍😂
-
Yeah the beta raid was so full of bugs - said nobody ever The beta only contained the first mission "homecoming," the strike "The Inverted Spire," Control, and Countdown.
-
You must have been super lucky to have access to the raid during the beta
-
The beta didn't include the raid. But, yeah their internal testing team should have probably found it.
-
But, yeah their internal testing team should have probably found it.
their internal team did find it, that's what the delay is about
-
Edited by Venomous47: 10/9/2017 7:56:27 PMWell, I mean they found it, after the Destiny community found it and spread the information. Unless their internal team found another exploit that we haven't found yet, which is also a possibility. I was talking about before the game was released. But its tricky to find exploits like this because you have to break the game at the perfect time for it to work. There is an unthinkable amount of combinations of things that have a chance at breaking some part of a game.
-
The prestige raid isn't live yet so only the internal team could've found it
-
Not if they are talking about the exploit that exists right now in the raid that makes no adds spawn in the final boss fight. Like I said, they could have found a different exploit, but it is a good chance that, this is what they are talking about.
-
Don't think so since he specified the challenges
-
Well, I mean, majority of the playerbase still finds the normal raid a challenge. So, again, he might be vaguely talking about this current exploit (so that more people that don't know about it find out how to do it.) that takes away the challenge of the final boss fight.
-
The way he worded it made it seem like he was talking about raid challenges. The cheese takes longer to kill the boss than normal and doesn't make the raid any easier so wouldn't think it'd be addressed for a while anyway.
-
Edited by Venomous47: 10/9/2017 8:12:48 PMIt does make it easier for the people on the outside. If its raid team not so good at killing waves of enemies. But yes, the inside team still needs to know how to do the inside. (Unless they also combine it with the exploit on the inside where if you land in a specific spot calus cant suck you in so you dont even need to punch the psions on the outside. But yeah, the could possibly be talking about any known or not publicly known exploit. Also, from what I know, Raid challenges like the ones they eventually had in Destiny 1 won't added until a little after the prestige raid. Like, first the Normal Raid release, then Prestige Raid release, then the Raid Challenges release.
-
The exploit is probably the same one in the normal, where you can force no enemies to spawn at calus.
-
Don't think so since he specified the challenges
-
He said 'encounters'
-
An exploit has been discovered in the Leviathan Raid that causes the encounters to be stripped of their intended challenge.
^^^ yes he did but he also said
stripped of their intended challenge
This implies specific prestige challenges
-
That's just bungies way of writing fancily. An encounter to be stripped of its intended challenge = a fight in the raid being stripped of its intended difficulty. And anyway, why would they delay something if the community hasn't found the exploit. It's obviously the calus one and if not bungie is stupid.
-
What?!? You think they should put out the prestige raid if there's fundamental issues with the main challenges? That's never how games have worked
-
Why release the normal raid by that same logic?
-
What? What issues did they know about the normal raid before it was launched?
-
A few people have listed the quirks with raid above feel free to look through them.
-
What's that have to do with this?
-
I don't work bungie homie
