Hey Deej..... Will you still show up to work if Bungie said they are only willing to pay you in friendship? Just curious.

  • 9.8/10 I’ve never given a 10 and 9.8 is the highest I’ve ever given.

  • While I understand your argument, this would only work of you were paid a salary to play D2, not if you paid 60-100 bucks to play D2.. If you are actually paid to play, that's awesome. If not, you can feel free to adjust your argument. I'd be happy to hear it.

Sure thing. Time is another form of currency that we spend. The equation from Deejs perspective is that it is friendship should drive people to log in and play a hollow game. The implication that friendship is the priority over a substantial core to the end game and attempting sell that to us, the consumer, is disingenuous at best and pretty low rent at worst. So my question to Deej was simply this, if you believe friendship as important as you do then would you work for free if someone paid you in friendship?. Obviously, the answer to this is no however my point stands. This isn't their first day on the job. They get paid to do this. To pass off the lack of content with words like friendship and such I am trying to re-establish a common ground. Let me help you with this. 1. Sell you a watch that doesnt work for 60 bucks and say hey... Its about friendship. Pay no attention that it doesnt work right, its about friendship. 2. You pay me 60 dollars for landscaping job and i only mow the front lawn. Hey... Its cool right, were friends. 3. Your daughter babysits for us and i agree to pay her 60 dollars for her time. Problem is she only shows for half a day. You see... I am invalidating the use of friendship in relation to business. People paid 60 dollars for a game and 99 dollars for the game plus expansions. Which oddly enough they are releasing an expansion 3 months after release. Do you honestly think they made that expansion from scratch after launch? No. That expansion is being internally tested right now. Which means it was being developed side by side with the base game. They elected to not put it in the game and sell it to us 3 months after. Back to that friendship analogy... That doesnt feel very friendly at all. I hope this offers you clarity.
