What do people even consider endgame?
-
Activities that you play over and over chasing certain pieces of loot/gear/experience/skills or different versions of certain "loot" in hopes to achieve the strongest possible point they could achieve. This is something games like Diablo 3 and Dragons Dogma have perfected. It's a way to stay busy and have a personal goal to chase after to have an excuse to continue playing the game if it's fun enough. The end game in say Diablo 3 is min/maxing as much as you can to achieve the highest solo greater rift you can without failing. Doing this earns you more loot to get stronger to push for an even higher greater rift.

This is a different genre through its not a mmo. Mmos are more for endgame stuff this is basically a shooter

That advertised itself as a hybrid mmo with, and I quote, "a ton of loot." Bungie has no one else but themselves to blame. I really don't care either way, there are games that are better than Destiny and that's just a fact but I enjoy destiny for what it is although I continue to criticize it so that it may (hopefully) become better.
