Thanks Deej. Friendship is the reason i paid $60... Edit: Trending. Lmao Thanks Deej.
Edited by GumpForHeisman: 10/6/2017 3:27:43 PMThe sad thing is, this is Bungie believing their own BS... and yes I truly believe Deej buys this as a heartfelt response, but it's absolute BS. Someone said it best, on Reddit if I'm not mistaken, by saying "D1 was about building friendships, D2 should be about keeping those friendships". Bungie took the lazy way out; put a lot of time and effort into new worlds, yet filled it with stuff that holds your interest to level 20 and that's it. That'll get you an 8.5 review from IGN, but the longevity of the game is crap. The raid isn't awful, but in terms of rewards and the urge to replay it is terrible.... I don't want to spend my Saturday night sneaking past the hounds in the Pleasure Gardens to get 5-10 tokens and 600 glimmer! The armor is cool, the weapons LOOK cool, but it has zero feel of what the VoG had in D1... and yes, I know, VoG was different, I don't want a rerelease, but you can't tell me you didn't grind for that Vex Mythoclast an instant after getting shredded by it Y1 D1 PVP. This isn't about lack of weapons, or static rolls, or not enough exotics, or different weapons/armor with the same skins (though all of those are also complete BS), it's about a lack of what made D1 (Y3) so great and replayable. The fun grind has been slaughtered, no record books (yeah we will get that later), no leveled IB or Trials (yeah we will get that later...probably), no in-game lore tracker/kiosk (probably won't get this, and it's stupid we won't), no real reason to do strikes (W.T.F. how hard is it to include weekly heroics, modifiers, strike specific loot... IDGAF right now to spend 20-25 minutes for tokens... yes more of those). This drip-drip-drip of content is FINE, except Bungie is doing it with the WRONG STUFF. Don't do it with IB, or vendors, or strikes... FFS, Bungie you've potentially designed a hell of a game, stop shackling it.
