Thrall= new born hive. Genderless but use female pronouns. This is how they looked as new born krill people.
Acolytes = adolescent hive. Genderless but use female pronouns. This is a stage they are in before they take a morph. This is the closest resemblance to their original krill people form.
Knights = often times still genderless but uses female pronouns (Xivu Arath) unless it takes a prince morph, like Crota. Then it becomes male.
Wizard= mother morph. Female.
King Morph = male. Oryx took this morph. It's a fair assumption that this is how the Osmium King looked. Has wings so flight is possible.
Off topic, but has anyone noticed that killing hive with headshots can cause them to expel their worm? Sometimes one hive can have multiple worms, from what I have seen. Try it out. Don't use explosive rounds.

Auryx took the morph and was still female until she slayed Akka, then he was known as Oryx. Also yeah I've seen that. It looks really cool to see the worms pop out. Have you seen Savathun's version of the Hive worm yet?

King implies male. Otherwise it would read queen or mother.

You are saying this when the Worm Gods called each of them prince multiple times. Prince also implies male. Let's not forget wizard also implies male but we all know Hive Wizards are female.

This is correct. However some of the lore often refers to wizards as witches, and the books of sorrow call them mothers. Savathun desired the mother morph so she could have a long life and to fly. Also consider that prior to taking a morph the krill people are, in fact, genderless but use female pronouns. Before taking a morph they can be called either by outside species.

Auryx was actually male, not female. In XV: Born as Prey, Auryx is referred to as "he" and "him". For example: [quote]Savathûn. You must draw Auryx out of his catatonia. Make him understand that the ideals of peace and stability he clings to are cancers — brutal, unjust obstacles between us and a fair cosmos.[/quote] Savathûn also calls Auryx her "brother". In XXI: an incision, it says: [quote]SAVATHÛN said, Auryx my brother and king, I have studied the wounds cut by the Worm our God.[/quote]
