Guided games - Feedback time

Ok so I wanted to guive you bungie some inputs on how Guided games have worked for me. First I must say that I didnt use guided games on my primary account since I can easily find a team on LFG for any activity I want to do, but I was looking forward to trying it and I thought that I would give it a go on my second account (this one). I decided to level up my titan and once I was happy with my power level and weapons I went ahead and tried guided games on the nightfall. After about 30 minutes I was paired up with a couple of guys, they didnt have a mic so I couldnt exchange any words with them, since it was a nightfall I didnt see it as a problem but I can imagine that, if you are completely new to nightfalls and require some guidance you could have struggled with it. However, since there were no special mechanics on this weeks nf and the modifiers were simple it was a walk in the park. They were helpful, reviving when needed, and decent players. Even though I ended up with 50% more kills than the two of them combined the nf felt fine, I didnt have to work extra to complete it and we had over 5-6 minutes left on the clock If I remember correctly. Then I waited to reach PL 280 to attempt the raid, now this was a different experience. After waiting for over 60 minutes I joined a team of which, 3 where clan members and the other 2 were not. Of the 3 clan members none of them spoke english very well, but enough to have a basic conversation and explain basic commands. One of them however sounded like he was in outer space, which was an issue since we could barely hear him. Of the other 2 one of them seemed like a normal chap, good communication, perfect english, all good, the other one however could not grasp basic concepts. Couldnt understand when to shoot a triangle and which one to shoot, didnt understand he had to kill a psion, didnt understand that he had to help the right side, didnt understand basically anything. It also turns out that the clan I was doing it with had never completed the raid, when we got to dogs they started the ecounter inmediately, which obviously didnt end up well since some people did not know what was going on. When they were asked to explain the encounter they all went silent, none of them could explain it so after a few minutes I stepped in, and in the end, I was the one giving the instructions, which should have never happened since I WAS THE ONLY looking to be guided!!!!!! After 1.15 minutes we all gave up, and there I was again back to the queue (I obviously left it for the day). The guys were nice and we all agreed that we were getting nowhere, mostly because one of us could not understand what we were trying to say. So unfortunately as expected the raid did not work well, I believe that there should be more restrictions or requirements before a clan can guide a raid, first, they woulld need to have completed the raid (all of them or at least 4 of them) and second, there should be more information about the clan when you are asked to accept the invite, like how many people are in the FT, language, experience, etc. Also, it turns out that the FT I was playing with not only had never completed the raid, but they had never played together, they were looking for a team in LFG, found 2 but couldnt find a 3rd one so they used guided games... which is NOT what guided games should be used for! I will give it another go today and see how I get on, but I think that, unless I come up against a 5 men clan FT with experience it will not be a pleasent experience. If I would have been someone else, new to the game that was trying to experience the raid for the first time, I would have felt like I wasted 1 hour of my time and very likely never try it again.

Ok so a bit of an update I tried Guided games 3 more times during nightfalls, same result on all of them. The results 1st nightfall https://photos.app.goo.gl/98b564az6OrgyDru1 2nd nightfall https://photos.app.goo.gl/u6VgLbJWlfSzKVNi2 3rd nightfall https://photos.app.goo.gl/3CGPyR21VvNiWTZQ2 4th nightfall https://photos.app.goo.gl/RXF8vlIp1lWgjYht2 The 1st and 2nd Nightfalls were last weeks, as I said before they were fine, we finished the first one with plenty of time to spare, the second one was a bit tighter. The last 2 are from this week's NF. Now as you know this week's NF is a bit more demanding that last weeks. Meaning the are a bit more mechanics than last week. Nothing major, but still a bit more "complex" than last week's. The first team I triied were french, or from belgium hard to say, and did not understand a single word I as saying. They were fine and helpful, however, they did not shoot a single anomaly, I honestly dont think they knew that they had to, I am not exagerating, I wish there was a way to see that in the screenshot but I can tell you they did not shoot a single one, they even walked right pass through them like if they were there just for the show... This means that, if I hadn't shoot those anomalies we would have never finished the strike. We actually finished it with only a few seconds to spare, they were ok as players but died between the two of them more than 20 times, and I died a few times just attempting to revive them, specially on the last phases. The one I did this morning was much better, the team did know they had to shoot anomalies although again they didnt speak at all. The also died around 20 times but that was fine since most of the time they died in normal spots where they were easy to revive. But, looking back to these 4 Nightfall I honeslty doubt the average joe or even the below average joe would have been able to complete any of this strikes/nightfalls. Another thing, I spent 2 hours today trying to get a nightfall done, first time I was looking at a video when the notification came up, and before I could see it, pick up my controller, and press ok, the notification went away, so I hard to start all over again, another 40 minutes in the queue, second time I was actually on my menu looking at the milesones, weapons to get rid off, etc, so when I came back I got the same message, apparently it popped up while I was in the menu... so I tried for the 3 rd time, 2 hours later I got in, I personally think this is not acceptable, since I can't do anything while I am waiting! Anyway just my thoughs. Wouldn't mind to hear other peoples experiences
