It has a story. That is already better than the first game. It is not a good story and I don't think people who have never played another game than destiny realize that. Every single character except ghaul is empty and forgettable. Not to mention we lost literally nothing during what was supposed to be the "destruction of the last city." We hardly lost a single vender! I mean we lost the speaker but nobody even knows how he died or really anything about him, after two games. I'm sorry but the truth hurts.

Good story. At least you get a feel of what's going on, and there aren't like a billion plot holes and left unanswered questions about specifics. Sure, it wasn't a complete clean sweep of a great story. It definitely felt a little underwhelming if you compare it to D1's Taken King where that was a true good story in my personal opinion. But, I give Bungie credit for actually trying to give us something we can work with this time around. Those of us who remember OG D1 without any expansion and having to basically do all that crap and not really know what the hell is going on, and even after beating the story in D1, you didn't feel finished or even complete in your final goal at all. At least completing the main story in D2, I feel complete in actually defeating the Red Legion and Ghaul.
