Bungie will just bring back another POE and call it something different.

Does anyone remember the prison of elders. I actually really liked the house of wolves version of it. Skolas was one of my favorite favorite parts of D1 believe it or not, i thought it was fun and challenging, and i could never forget that beautiful music they composed. But, prison of elders was a huge flop and excuse for a new "end game activity" So though skolas was fun, it doesnt mean prison of elders itself is fun. Also, I wanted to die when they brought it back in rise of iron, i hated that so much

I seriously doubt they can handle it. My game almost locks up during a damn glimmer drill public event. If we threw in hundreds of enemies on top of that, it would explode my console.

I'd like one that has us defending the walls of the city against waves of enemies. Maybe even let us experience the battle of Twilight Gap?

Agreed. People have been saying this for years now me included. A horde mode with top tier rewards for beating high waves would be absolutely rewarding and amazing. I'm personally thinking 10 waves with no timer (since we have more than enough of this already) but limited respawns. Suggestions for levels: - The reef This could be a meteor or floating piece of debris hurling towards earth. You and your fireteam of 6 people are trying to make this debris explode before it crashes into earth causing a cataclismic event that will wipe out all life. Enemies: Cabal would be most logical here in the first waves since they have space suits and helmets. But in the harder waves Hive emerge from the meteor giving us a hint as to how they infected earth all those years ago. This was their plan the cabal were merely attacking us on sight sending ships from their army down to kill us. It could be a drilling platform that we need to defend in order for the drill to penetrate max depth to explode the bomb. Im thinking if the horde is finished after wave 10 a cool cutscene where guardians are shot back to earth via escape pods launched of the drill and the visual of the explosion in a nice short cutscene as we shoot away back to earth? :)))))))) - The wall The fallen have launched an all out attack on the city wall and it is up to us to fortify and defend this wall before the last city falls. In the middle of the attack a hive drop pod crashes from outerspace right into the wall making the difficulty spike for the guardians and teamwork required to defend from 2 different angles now. Final wave could be to blow up the drop pod at the bottom making it tumble and securing the hole in the wall making the city save once again. Maybe a cool cutscene of this would be a close up from a fallen captain ordering around footsoldiers then hearing the explosion and seeying the drop pod fall right on him and his soldiers? :))))) Just some idea's I came up with within 5 minutes. (Job vacanties Bungie?)

Just play the raid. It's horde mode between every encounter.

I'm betting there's going to be Prison of elders sort of thing as part of a DLC.

yeah and they could call it like a prison full of the elders of each race. They could call it Prison of Elders yeah sounds cool
