How To Record Unreleased OST: The Inverted Spire Boss Theme
1. Ignore the Inverted Spire Strike, Protheon is too loud and the sound of gunfire from Vex constructs and blueberries is too much.
2. Replay and/or start the Deep Conversation Adventure on Artifact's Edge.
3. Have a buddy do the quest for you while you hide in a sound-proof corner far away from Vex fire and explosions. If you can get out of the area to avoid public events, do so.
4. Record gameplay, do not fire your weapon and try not to move.
5. Edit out the Ghost's and Failsafe's dialogue. This starts the hardest part. You also need to take some sections of the first parts and lay them over the rest so you can replaced the missing parts due to dialogue.
6. Find the Inverted Spire intro part and add it to the beginning. Congrats, you're done.
Alternatives:
1. Become an editing god and record during the Inverted Spire boss battle.
2. Pressure Bungie into making a "turn off SFX only" option.
3. Search tirelessly through the D2 Beta sound files from the PC Beta in order to find the scattered bits and hope to put them together (I did and only found the intro, the rest is all over the place, I just know it's in the files).
4. Wait until some people extract ALL of D2's sound files in October to get it.
Hope this helps anyone who wants the Inverted Spire theme. Next I'll do Savathun's Song... a little trickier.
