It's a cancer to gaming.

Edited by Deku_Scrub0: 9/29/2017 9:55:55 PMYeah but it beats a $80 base price tag as it should be this day in age. The only reason why games are $60 is cuz of dlc and micro transactions I mean think about it. Some Games in the 90s were $60 and due to inflation they would be $80 nowadays

And it wasnt that long ago.

Cost of things get higher while price stays the same is a recipe for disaster

An inflation calculator doesn't make what you said any more right. 5 years ago there was not nearly as much microtransactions in gaming. Now its been normalized and all the excuses start rolling in for it. I tell you what I'd gladly pay $100 dollars for a truly complete game not tarnished but cash grabs.
-
Nope not buying any of that. Games were 60 before microtransactions and excessive amounts of regurgitated garbage dlcs.

Edited by Deku_Scrub0: 9/30/2017 7:31:23 PMYeah during 00-05s when games were starting to get expensive to make they had to make up a new plan, from 05-10 was the starting of dlc, and from 10-present dlc and micro transactions started to come in very heavily. You can deny it all you want but this it the truth. Just use your head a little and you can see whats goin on. Now im not saying destiny2 is in the right here. Yeah for a $60 game with dlc and micro transactions its kinda low on the content from what it should have. But that also doesn't make it a bad game
-
Use your head and see that they have released the MVP with all sorts of future dlcs planned and a bunch of cosmetic limitations that encourage you to spend money on microtransactions. Once the dlcs run there course they will scrap the whole thing and release Destiny 3 just for the cycle to repeat itself. The only thing that has changed since the 2000s is the culture. Only a few studios actually understand that nowadays.
-
Its not though because there have actually been good games riddled in with no microtransactions or dlcs already planned that were for a $60 price tag.
-
Its lazy activision trying to suck every cent out of you and you defend them.
