Still crashing with a CE-34878-0 error after patch 1.03
The game is still crashing nearly every time I try to get to the tower. I tried clearing the cache, making more Hard Drive space and toggling all sorts of options but it's still happening. The game is basically unplayable.

I crash going to tower if I try to go into my gear menu. I have a normal ps4. So annoying - it is definitely worse after last week's patch.

Sometimes I can play for several hours without problem, sometimes I have a crash within the first 30mn or sometimes after 2 hours... It's always the same error code : CE-34878-0 Please Sony and Bungie do something !!!

95% of the time i fly to the tower it either loads forever or crashes with an error On PS4 Pro . Sick and tired of it to the point i care not to launch this game anymore . I NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH D1 NEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same issue here, had it in the morning before going to work at least 5 times. Came back from work half an hour ago and got 3 blue screens already. Did not have this issue before the patch, so yea it's annoying as hell not being able to play.

Having a menu open or inspecting an item doesn't seem to affect whether it crashes or not. I also tried rebuilding my PS4's database.

This happened to me . Go back to orbit and back to the tower should be ok

Please keep posts about this issue bumped to the top of the Help forum until they acknowledge this as a "Known Issue." It's been persistent since the game launch and left completely unaddressed.

same here every other time i go to the tower my game crashes and i get that error its been doing it since launch for me

I'm on regular PS4 and I have gotten this crash when traveling to social spaces. Has happened around 10 times so far, both before and after recent patch

Edited by No1complainer: 9/26/2017 4:28:22 PMPS4 Pro, destiny edition. Swapped out HDD to 2TB. Plenty of room (haven't installed much besides D2). 95% of attempts to tower/farm crash to CE-34878-0. Seems to happen more frequently than launch week. Also seems worse at night than early day. Maybe related to # of people online in region. D2 updated to 1.05, PS4 latest update.

Having the exact problem. My PS4 error history is 99% Destiny 2 now. I am on a 1TB PS4 (NOT PRO) and am experiencing a mix of hanging (stuck in the loading screen) and crashes (every time I play I encounter about half a dozen CE-34878-0 errors). I don't have this issue with ANY other game. I've got in-game messages telling me I'm Nat 3 when I know 100% that not to be the case. Extremely frustrating, especially when all that's been acknowledged so far is that this is a Pro issue as opposed to a broader problem with Playstation.

Lost count of the number of crashes past the 14th one trying to load into the tower. PS4 pro, usually takes 14-20 minutes to get into the tower

Same here. I can't go down to the tower, and as I'm writing this I just got kicked out of Io when landing.
