XB1 - Your user-generated content setting in your platform is currently blocking invites - Please help

Under my clan menu I have a message: Your user-generated content setting in your platform setting is currently blocking invites. I followed the link but to the Xbox One support but that did not help. Which settings do I need to change to recieve a clan invite. Thanks

Settings -> account -> privacy & online safety -> xbl privacy -> customize -> communication & multiplayer-> others can communicate with voice text or invites. Change to everybody.
