"Brief" Review after first 50 hours of Gameplay

If your don't feel like reading watch the video that is linked, it covers pretty much everything I'm about to talk about. As of right now I have a hunter up to 300 power. I beat the campaign, completed most of the lost sectors, have done more public events than I wish to admit, ground out pvp and strikes, and finally beat the raid. In fifty hours I have completed nearly every aspect of game play Destiny two has to offer and quite honestly I'm disappointed. I put some 600 hours into Destiny, and despite all of its numerous issues I still loved the game, my key complaints with Destiny were these. Monotonous level design, horrible dialog (I don't have time to explain ;), terrible pvp balancing, lack of in game story telling or world development, and one of my biggest aesthetic complaints was the ships being used as boring loading screens. So far Destiny Two has done absolutely nothing to solve any of these problems in a productive way. The level design is still point, shoot, repeat with no real breaks except for an occasional cut scene. The dialog is still terrible with amazing lines such as "humanity thrived until it didn't", and the manner in which the story is presented is horrible. For some reason instead of using good story telling Bungie felt the need to use ridiculous 20 second logo shots to set up each cut scene. Almost as if they were telling the story to a three year old who needed visual cues as to not get confused, not to mention that nearly every interaction with any character is just shot, reverse shot over and over again. I want to like the story and honestly the prologue mission we played in the beta had me really excited for the direction the game was taking but when it was all said and done, the first mission was the most interesting out of all of them. It feels as if they made just enough good content so they could sell their game and then gave up after one mission. Next is the terrible pvp. Bungie managed to make it fairly stable and mostly balanced in Destiny two, at least its miles better than destiny one. They did this primarily by slowing everything down. Movement speed, jump height, ability recharge is all slowed down to make pvp more competitive. However, bungie eliminated all choice from pvp. Do you like control? To damn bad because you have to sift through a stupid playlist to play any game type you like. All in all I find the crucible boring and too slow to keep my attention for more than two games. The same can be said for strikes. The loot from strikes isn't worth it, they are long, monotonous, boring, and completely unrewarding to play. I only think I've completed two or three strikes total. Now my smallest complaint, the ships are still only aesthetic and useless. They have no reason to exist other than for bungie to find one more loot item to add to the table to extend the time people will grind to get all of the gear possible. My final note is the world building. Destiny two does a better job of introducing lore into the game rather than making you go to a separate website to understand what the hell was going on. That being said destiny two falls incredibly short and with no way to find out more lore, such as a codex in game, you have to gleam what you can from abilities and gear. All and all it is even harder to learn lore from destiny two than it is in destiny one, because even if it was only on a website at least it was accessible in some manner. In destiny two there is no clear means to learn more about the world. So long story short Destiny 2 didn't solve any of the major problems with destiny one, it didn't fix pvp, it slowed pve down to a point that it was very noticeable, in 50 hours I've completed everything except trials of the nine which I have no will to try because of how boring pvp is, strikes are boring, the story has no replay value and is boring, the raid was the only truly good part of this game, and honestly I will keep playing just for the raid alone. But one game play aspect can't save a game and make it good. I seriously hope destiny two can be saved with the upcoming dlc or some major patches because right now it is barely worth playing at all.
