Faction vendors....
Destiny 2 Has Faction Vendors But They Won’t Sell Weapons

So, so far IMO the vendors have been lacking not leaving much to look forward too. Just curious Bungie, since they will have set weapons with no rotation. What do they really have to offer other then what the current vendors are offering right now?
In D1 they had a purpose with an actual inventory.
1.Are there going to be ghost to purchase
2. Are there going to be ships to purchase
3. Are there going to be sparrow's to purchase
4. Are there going to be quest other the patrol quest like exotics
5. Can we use the shards on them, I only have over 400 of them because Xur had nothing to sell
6. Is the gear going to actually level gamers up or continue like the rest of the vendors dropping below your current levels
7. Is there going to be new items or just the norm
Vendors are important in the game and if we are leveling up rep for nothing which I hope that isn't the case. That's not called incentive...
Edit: Okay, a friend sent me this link that kind of explains what happening, but IMO I'd like to be able to purchase items. Will see what happens

14 RepliesYeah, factions are basically just a race to grind now, rather than a guys who offer some unique weapons and gear every week. It's half fixed rolls and half lazyness

4 RepliesIt's because there's no weapon rolls. If they sell their gear, there's no point in grinding faction rep because it's not like you have a chance of getting a great roll on a piece of gear.

3 RepliesThey should make them rotating. I keep getting the same 2 weapons and armor from level up of gunsmith. Last time i checked i havent gotten 7 of the weapons he can drop. I havent gotten... The hakke HC(not bad news but the other one) the SCOUT and SMG. One of the omolon HC'S . A suros auto and scout. A sniper. It seems you have 99% chance to get duplicates. Because this has been in over 60 rank ups.

1 ReplyI would love to buy a piece of armor I need since drops and decrypts won't give me any. I get like 95% weapons 5% under powered armor. So sick of multiple fusion rifles and grenade launchers. 😭

3 RepliesI have a FWC auto rifle that I got from one of Cayde's treasure chests. It looks cool but isn't anything special that'd I'd grind for specifically. I'd guess the faction vendors will use the stupid coins like all the others. I'm not a fan of the coins really.

3 RepliesGoing by what we have seen with the other Vendors/Factions I doubt they will sell anything. Seems in this version of Destiny Bungie wants us depending on RNG for our weapons/gear. Will any drops be above our light level? I also doubt this. I have to agree with you though, vendors need to be vendors. Not just token collectors.
