D1 introduced us to a game mode called trials. It's where anyone who grinded for maximum light levels could go do some PvP and actually have what they worked for be relevant. In D2 it seems that bungie is catering to casuals who don't put in the time or work. So what's the point of raising light (power) level other than for PvE? How does everyone else feel about this and why?
