Hit or miss. Sometimes I get smart players. Sometimes idiots that nuke everything. The idiots are the same ones complaining that NF and the raid is too hard. What me think? No I just hit fire button and expect epic loot.

Had a moment like that this morning. Fumbling around on Nessus, came across a glimmer drill PE that was just starting. No other guardians around. Blew up the machine then took care of the ultras. Moved on to the second area, took care of the machine and a rando 20 joined me while I was working on the ultras. Cool, I like the help. Last area, all these randos show up out of nowhere and as I'm working on that last machine to trigger heroic, I see that they've killed 3/4 of the ultras already and are working on the 4th. I blew it up JUST before they killed that last guy. I'm pretty chill, but I have to admit, I was screaming at my TV. I had come so far alone and they almost ruined it! They must have just wanted to kill things. We got about 50% of the glimmer before they all took off out of the circle to shoot things. Granted, they stayed in the area so that made it easier for me to guard the circle and kill that final boss because I didn't have to worry about the adds that much. I got an exotic engram out of it so that was nice.

Well. There are people who may have just picked up the game. There are people who don't care about strategy guide knowledge. There are people that just don't know yet because they haven't figured it out. That said. I do find myself yelling at tbe guy running around with the last charge from the spider tank that clearly doesn't know where to put it. I was relieved when the Fallen put him down so I could pick the charge up.

They're the most efficient way to farm exotics in the game and almost no one does them. 1.3 million players playing at the same time and like .0000000000001% of them doing public events.

Some just like to screw over others. I played a few yesterday, had the same douchebags for 3 publics before i left. They basically did the tank as normal up until the last charge, then one of them grabbed it and just ran round the area while his team finished the tank off. Why? Why bother doing any charges if your just gonna screw others out of heroic.

Honestly i get more exotics from non heroic... but they are more fun and give you 2x xp so i think jts worth it not having to do 15 public events but only about 7

4 RepliesI was doing public events with two of my friends last night. I know they don't read the forums or google anything about this game. I told them they could trigger these public events into heroic public events. They thought about it for a second and said wow that's neat, why? I told them better loot was available. Both of their responses where "nah, I just want to shoot shit". TLDR - Some people don't care and just want to shoot shit

1 ReplyTo be fair though, has anyone noticed any difference whatsoever between normal and heroic PE rewards? I've leveled 6 characters completely solo, meaning that I've pretty much only relied on PE, and I havent noticed any difference. Additionally, I've only ever seen three exotic drops from the chests.
