Need solo-queue playlist
First, I really enjoy D2 crucible. Coming from D1, which I also really enjoyed, I think the improvements made in D2 are great. D2 is highly centered on team play, which is awesome! However, playing solo is SUPER rough. I can never count on teammates to challenge with me, which often means I'm double+ teamed. Spawns can get crazy in control especially when only one point is held. And getting queued against a team is a significant disadvantage.
Bungie, can we please get consistent access to a quickplay playlist that is only accessible by solo queuing guardians? Perhaps this would make crucible more fun for those who don't have a fireteam.

I would rather have 6v6 than solo queue. Both would be great though!

1 ReplyIt existed in d1, nobody played it. Still, when there's no communication, what I like to do is follow team mates around, not the other way around. This makes it so I can take care of my little braindead pet AND rob kills from him

I've actually started actively leaving games that my teammates don't cooperate. There's no penalty like leaving an overwatch match so why should I stick around with people who are just running around like a chicken with their heads cut off.

Good idea but you have to get used to solo pushing in pubs if you run it often, play reserved unless your on a flank than be aggressive. All about playing smart ;) 🤷🏼♂️

Yeah sounds good, you could get rumble, salvage, skirmish and elimination modes on the playlist... have them as 2v2 (1v1v1v1 for rumble)?? These were always half the roster in d1, but having a full roster of just 8 is a bit awkward for that now though!?

Actually with so many people playing D2 right now it would hurt at all. Freelance Quickplay would be a nice addition.

That would be kinda nice, actually. I don't mind playing against teams of 4, because it hones your skills, but it can get a little tiring if you're in a team of random scrubs, and you end up getting so badly wrecked that the game calls the mercy rule. Maybe give us the option queuing for a solo/team of two playlist and then another playlist for teams of 3/4. Or just do some clever automatching in the background so that it's much less likely for solo or teams of two players to get put in a match facing a team of 4.

While I like the idea of solo queue as going against constant teams of 3-4 with a team of randoms is no fun, other games have done it and the population is always really low so doubt bungie will bother. It'd be nice if they just brought FFA back so at least there'd be something to play so everyone's pretty much on a level playing field.
