Would people stop complaining, like really, if you wanna complain about a good raid just cry in your beds. The raid is the most unique thing we have seen from Bungie since basically VoG. Instead of walking into a room and fighting a boss you are trying to get to Calus' throne room. You are doing a stealth/ attack mission, and so on and so on. We have a ton of possible secrets with the raid to find. Tunnels upon tunnels to explore and find things. And the raid may not be the most rewarding raid in the world but that is what the Emperor's Advocate is for. You get rep by doing the raid, raid quests, etc. And the no checkpoint system is a little frustrating, but really I think Bungie wanted you to experience the raid in a full on scale instead of parts the whole week.
I think bungie caters to no life's. (No check points is b.s.) big time.

There definitely are checkpoints.

I agree with the no check points. It is so stupid cause that means you have to start over or stay where you are. The no life part just isn't true though. You don't have to no life D2 to get gear and weapons and levels. They literally made the game so it was more appealing to casuals.

If that were true we wouldn't be getting exotics like they're candy
