Kinda bummed. Hoping that the team's that beat it in 6ish hours are just really experienced. I wasn't expecting another crota's end.

They were like 20 levels over the cap of the raid. Imagine if they were 270-280 like we are usually when a raid drops
-
The levels only matter +/- 5. The Raid is a 270PL Event. Your Power Level only counts to 275. That's the threshold for Damage Dealt and Taken. Being 300PL means nothing.

Ay? Nearly six hours since release it was finished....how is that quick?
-
Because six hours for new endgame content should take more than 6 hours. That's how

Vault of glass took almost 11 hours and honestly not that challenging puzzle wise...
-
Might seem long but blind raids aren't meant to be finished that fast. Remember how crota's end received a lot of harsh criticism? That one was also beat in 6 hours. Vault of glass world first took 14 hours. I think one team literally went to bed, woke up and finished the raid to get 3rd place.

Ya but no one knew Destiny raid mechanics... They all follow somewhat similar patterns now, and VoG was just insanely good and they had years to create it

Fair point just looked back aha To be honest though, people have been playing this for 3 years and had 4 raids under their belt before this one. So I suppose six hours is still decent for a good team.

Vog was the first raid though, and over the years we've learned more the mechanics of this game...at least we have a better idea what the devs are going for than vog at first.

Vault of Glass was the first Raid in Destiny so there was a huge learning curve while everyone tried to figure out the mechanics. After VOG, the playerbase has become more adept at figuring out things like how to use Relics, Boss DPS and invulnerability phases and various puzzles. Experienced Raiders are getting better at knowing how Bungie designs these Raids.

kingsfall was only 6 1/2 hours bro

Bro kingsfall was even worse, bro. I finished that raid a couple times bro and never went back bro.
