Exotics

I have received multiple exotic engrams and they keep dropping the same gear. I know have 3 coldheart trace rifles and 2 dragon shadow chest armor. Why do I keep getting the same gear?

Be thankful I spent $500 I have a piece of paper saying that I get cold heart yet I don't have it and yes I've beat the game but I still don't have it
