Can't update clan ?!?!?!

Everytime I try to change the motto or anything on the clan page I click save and it tells me the provided clan tag or clan name is not acceptable please choose another when I did not even try to change the clan tag or name please help ?!?!?!

I've had the same problem since Bungie updated the Destiny companion app for Destiny 2. I've had my clan name since June of last year with no problems. Now I can't update anything without that message popping up. Also, I have yet to find out if the fixed the bungie.net website and made it more mobile friendly.
