I played D1 on PS4. I am buying D2 on PC and hope it will run well on my MacBook Pro. The main reason I am buying the PC version is that I travel. If I wanted to bring my console with me, that was the pain in the ass: it was heavy, needed to find a TV, connecting hotel wifi was painful. A console is just not portable. I hope D2 work well on the MBP that runs the Windows, or I might never buy the game.

  • I have the higher end MBP (no upgrades) and it works really well at 1080p, is either 30fps or 60fps on the lock and rarely goes below 30fps for me (unless there’s tonnes of enemies and explosions) at least that was I the beta. You can get an external gpu if it’s a thunderbolt 3 Mac and with a better GPU it’ll run a beast. Waiting till the 25th of September 2017 to check the eGPU support in official high Sierra release
