Destiny isn't for solo players. The writing is on the wall, dude, they couldn't have been any more clearer. They actually implemented and in game clan tracking system, seriously, have some confidence and chat some people up, make friends, otherwise Destiny is leaving you behind.

Well they didn't expand PvE fireteam sizes or raid team sizes and the lowered PvP squad sizes so it doesn't seem like a very LARGE team based game lol

Yet you can easily do 95% of the game yourself. The only thing that requires 'teams' are raids and strikes. In d1 you could easily and enjoyably solo in pvp. Now with the horrid TTK, the 4v4, the nerf to melee, skills, power ammo and supers the games pvp is just a slow paced, boring version of halo with a stupid TTK, dead solo play and requires you to hold hands in your team while 4v1 gunning players down and feeling good. Theres has been so many times i've headshot a player with an auto rifle like 6-8 times and the guy can just run around the corner and survive. Or come behind players only for the team to have enough time to actually turn around and kill me before i can kill them.

Actually with the huge ttk, shotgun rushing, and even sword rushing... actually literally any heavy rushing is basically free kills.

Well the in game system isn't even active yet, teamfinder forums still suck and bungie preaches all the time that you can play the game how you want to, whether it's alone or with friends. Not to mention the story was clearly designed with solo play in mind yet they tried their hardest to gear crucible towards some 4v4 competitive 4manclan bs that literally no one in the quick play playlist cares about

It's not about "confidence". It's about playing by yourself. I for one enjoy pvp games by myself . And so do others.

So because you enjoy playing by yourself the game should support that? I think you're not understanding this is a game with a huge emphasis on community and team play and they are pushing that. If it's not for you there are plenty of games that fit your criteria

The game does support that, the devs literally said that themselves. Such a huge emphasis on teams and i can do go 95% of the game on my own. Only thing needing a team is strikes/ raids and i can carry strikes at my power level. Technically in D2 that now includes pvp as its a trash team shooting fest at the moment. But hey solo i can do: All the main missions. All the adventures. Lost sectors. Region chests. Public events. Patrols. Chest farming. Exotic farming. Token farming. Farming in general -_-. In fact you could likely get to mac light level or close to it soloing. It may take a while without the strikes/ crucible power gear

Well I know lots of people who like to play solo and destiny will lose a lot of players going down this path of -blam!- solo players
