Destiny 2 Error: Cabbage

The events in game stop occurring and after a while the following error appears: ERROR You have returned to the Orbit. Please Try Again. If the problem persists, you should troubleshoot networking setup. For more information, visit help.bungie.net and search for the error code: cabbage. Steps taken: Reset PS4. Reset Network settings. Reset Internet setup. Uninstalled and re-installed Destiny 2 Checked Website mentioned above but error code cabbage does not exist. Modem: Technicolor However the router that is connected with the PS4 is a TP Link Anybody can help me? I thank you in advance.

  • Just set your DNS primary to "8.8.8.8" and secondary to "8.8.4.4". Google DNS. Worked for me on my PS4. No more cabbage.

        Still getting this if I use my Technicolor router. Such bullshit. All ports advised by Bungie are open and still get it constantly. No enemies or npcs, empty tower, kicks to orbit and all at random. Bungie why release a game and charge people for it if you haven’t even worked out the connection protocols. It’s a networked game how can we play it if we can’t even connect properly!!!!

          • Still have the cabbage problem. I just bought a new router (no technicolor) and the damn cabbage error still appeare. I've had it with the game and with bungie.if you buy something you expect it to work. Ive really had it so i demand a refund for the game! And if bungie does not reply i suggest everyone who lives in belgium and other contrys that we make a claim en take legal steps so we can have our money back. Its easy for them to cash in all the money for something that will not work.

            • Do you want me to talk about irony? I have a huawei router and I can not play anything for the "cabbage" error and bring my xbox to my aunt's house (which has a technicolor modem) and the game works perfectly. no one is served by the technicolor router, but I have one that should serve and it happens to me I'm sorry if you do not understand, I speak Spanish.

                • Lettuce and cabbage, and more problems, i´m from Austria. Never had problems with the connection befor... NAT is Open, Router works fine with every other game but this one... Restartet the Router, doesn't work Switcht from Lan to WLan, doesn't work Console restart, doesn't work WHY BUNGIE? :(

                  • I'm facing the same cabbage issue with Destiny 2, never had this before with Destiny 1, using Thompson router from ISP...going to try disable the "extended security option" and watch the outcome. Really disappointing with this experience can't even play and story mission's without getting kicked out... Bungie please fix this!!! Thanks.

                  • Hey bungie just checked I do hv a technicolor modem but that shouldn't change anything im not going portforward my router just to play a game the game should hv been compatible with all types of routers and internet befor the release and it was your fault its not, u should hv fixed it since the beata cuz it happened during the beata aswell and still not fixed a beata is there to fix the problems incase of any and if destiny is not fixed your losing alot of ppl in the community and its a wonderful game so fix it soon or I want my money back for pre ordering this game

                    • Maybe as words that sum up what I'm feeling about Destiny 2 are: Disappointment and Frustration. I have literally thousands of hours that I played Destiny1 and I was looking forward to Destiny 2, In Beta I could not play because of the error Moore, it was a frustration not to get past the Square with Zavala, but it was Beta and they are usually to correct mistakes and even sad, I understood that these problems were normal in Beta. But my biggest disappointment was that the same mistake, at the same place and time, now no longer as moore, but as Cabbage. I can not enable other classes, every time the error happens and I'm thrown back to orbit. My question is if the error was commented in both the Beta, why not corrected? We're already heading for the second week and I can not play I'm feeling HUNGRY, for a company that I've always been an admirer. When can I play normally? I am in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil

                      • Same issue here: got the game on Xbox, cabbage error everywhere as soon as I get to a progress check in any quest. I already tried port forwarding and such, didn't change anything. And yes, I have the modem provided by telecom (Italy) which should be a technicolor. Hopefully it will be fixed, I'm not going to pay extra money to change my router because of a bug.

                        • I am from Austria and have geh same Problem. Allways cabbage or lettuce error. I have a technicolor TG Modem, i ve never had any issues with any game i played, it allways Worked. With Destiny 2 i Really got frustrated. When i m in orbot It's also saying (sometimes) that i have NAT 3, what definatly is wrong - i ve NAT 2. I also tried playin with NAT 1, with portfowarding...after 10 (max.) minutes - Error. Only Way to play - Hotspot from my mobile phone.. Hopefully you ll find a Way bungie, so many frustrated and sad People..at least i Hope you ll find the Problem and tell the People.

                        • This is insane. NO MORE CABBAGE. I live in Conway, Arkansas. I own an xbox one. I live in a dorm on campus so i cant really give any information as to the router since they dont allow routers in the residence hall and i forced to use the school wifi. Bungie plz fix this. Unlike others I will be kind enough to give u till Friday, maybe even next Tuesday, but if this issue hasnt been fixed by week 3, then microsoft might as well just fire everyone there.

                          I found a PERFECT SOLUTION that, you need to check "Marionberry" error code on Destiny 1. Go step by step for the solution: 1. Go in to your router interface (On your computer, go to 192.168.2.1 (for me). 2. Then find UPNP option on the list. 3. Close the Port Forwarding option on UPNP. 4. Save the new settings. Come back to PS4 Network Settings. 1. Simply follow the general steps to connect Internet (prefer to use LAN) 2. Then, you need to Uncheck "Connect to the Internet" 3. Hold on few seconds and Check "Connect to the Internet" And That's it!! I couldn't believe that this was so easy solution for annoying Cabbage error, It worked for me, please try it and comment bellow. Enjoy D2 NOW ! Edit: I'm from Turkey and using "Airties" modem, I tell the solution according to their settings, but you can easily find UPNP section on your router.

                          • This is an absolute disgrace on Bungie. Zero transparency. Zero forward looking statements. Played hundreds of hours in the first game and I can't even play on week 2 while all of my friends fly through the game. I have contacted Sony for a refund and they laughed at me. So I am demanding a refund here and now from Bungie. A pre ordered 130 dollar game and zero delivery and accountability from a billion dollar company up to this point. Clap clap. Absolutely 100% unacceptable Please reply to this thread with some real help and guidance. @developers. (You knew this wasn't working but it was a small enough number of outliers thay experienced this glitch in the demo that you went ahead anyway and signed off. Greedy.) Old error code was "Moose" for this in the beta. You haven't fooled anyone! Looking forward to hearing back,

                          • Hey there, I too had the cabbage error but I found a fix for it! Connect your console via Hotspot from your PC or Laptop to the Internet. Sounds stupid, but it worked for me. Good luck :)

                          • The problem may be with Activision. I can play any game online except D2 and Call of Duty. (haven't recently tried D1) Recently couldn't play, even connect once, to any call of duty game I own and now D2. And again, all my other online games work fine. I've done all the (safe) router configurations anyone could come up with. I'm getting a new modem soon, maybe that will help?
