[Xbox One]Destiny 2 does not launch in Australian region, just redirects to Destiny 2 Store page with wrong release date!

Very frustrating at the moment as Iam in Australia and destiny 2 should've been working by now. Now Iam stuck waiting while the game launches for other regions when it shouldve been good to go by now for me... all i get is a redirect to destiny 2 store page and a prompt telling me its too early to play on xbox one. Also the redirect states the preorder releasing 19/09/17. Iam in Australia so I should've been playing the game by now... Really disappointed...

  • Hello, Did you by chance use a US payment method when pre-ordering Destiny 2? We are currently aware of an issue where the wrong date is being shown for the base game, but it will become available to players when their region gains access to Destiny 2.

      Bump this. Xbox store does say 9/20 base game. The launch edition shows 9/6. Deluxe edition shows 9/6. Fix the base game edition. Because its tied into all the others because it is the game. My two cents. Edit: at the bottom of base game it does show 9/6 under additional information.

    • Bumping this, because this is an issue that never should have happened. Anyone who is having this problem please create or bump threads like this to get Bungie to keep paying attention and also bring this up to Xbox support through various ways until they finally realize that the game should have launched today and they are holding players back from that.

    • Join the club mate there have been a few complaints might have to wait for the forums to flood before we get a fix! Just got off the line with Microsoft support he said it releases on the 20th not much help there hopefully we don't have to wait that long

      • guys keep this post alive , Australia is the first place all over the world where the game is playable , this is a very disappointing issue

        • You would think Game developers of this size had a direct link/contact with Xbox (and PS for that matter), a departement for them to get in contact with when something is wrong Like.."hey guys you got the wrong date in store, pls fix. Kind regards, Bungie" Done.

          • I have the same problem in sweden now it is 00:45 and the game will not start , just tells me to go to the store, and the launch date is the 20th of september. I have tried everything

          • Same issue here. GER region and bought it in the US store, let's pray that it will be playable as soon as it is online in the US..
