I haven't touched my network settings in over a year. I play Destiny almost every single day on my XBox One.
On September 2, I started getting baboon and weasel errors while trying to play ANY activity. Essentially, the only way I could remain connected was by staying alone in orbit.
My primary connection is a 100Mbps wired connection. I've tried playing two other multiplayer games, namely Halo 5 (PvP) and Titanfall 2 (PvP). Didn't face any connectivity issues with them. It's only when I try to play Destiny that I start getting weasel (kicked to orbit) and baboon (kicked out of activity and sometimes reconnected) errors.
Today I tried using my secondary connection, which is a 4G connection via my phone's hotspot. It seemed to work well for a few crucible matches, but then I got the error codes twice in the last hour. I've given up for now.
I've also tried hard-resets of my console AND router. Seeing that I've faced the same problem with two different connections and that other games work fine, I can't help but wonder if the fault is not on my end. Can someone shed some light on this please?

1 ReplyYou said internet speed which has nothing to do with your problems (5meg is more than enough). Do a search on B.Net, Destiny app or Google to bring up a guide to those error codes. Start with resetting your router and clearing your console's cache. If you still have problems run a full internet diagnostic from your console looking for poor NAT, data loss and high signal latency.
