We understand that it's affecting the crucible in a large way, but Bungie has a history of trying to keep the gameplay the exact same way across both PvE and PvP - the removal of aim assist altogether will kill PvE gameplay for controller users since the aiming 'feel' is an enormous and integral part of Destiny. There are huge numbers of D1 vets looking to migrate to the PC platform while keeping the classic controller setup.
This post at the least is just another voice strongly urging Bungie to remember the PvE players too, before making a decision that would erroneously impact them too much.
If the developers are going to remove or gut the aim assist, it is imperative that it only affects crucible. Controller AA is vital to PvE gameplay. It is an enormous part of why the gunplay feels so great and flows so well. Without the AA, controller usage feels very clunky and nowhere near as free-flowing or enjoyable to play. Please have consideration for disabled gamers as well, and those who just want the console experience on more powerful hardware.
