You will never balance AA with mouse and keyboard in a competitive shooter. The AA user will always have an advantage over an EQUALLY skilled K+M user.
Because of this the only fair option is to remove AA from the crucible and only allow it to be used in PVE. If you really want to play competitive with a controller there are two excellent platforms to choose from. PlayStation and Xbox. PC isn’t a place where AA should exist in competitive play.

Destiny isn't a PC game. It's a console game being ported to PC and it's a game designed with a controller UI. On top of all that, Destiny isn't a competitive game. It's not balanced and it never will be.

If it’s on PC it’s a PC game and should prioritize PC controls I don’t see PC games coming to console and demanding users use Keyboard and Mouse. Enough with these silly excuses for why Aim Assist should exist. This isn’t a console. Go play there if you want aim assisted controller.

There is no such thing as a balanced competitive game. Where did this imaginary idea come from? The reason metas exist in competitive games and devs constantly release balance patches is because you will never balance a FPS game unless everyone is the same. Bungie has made their intentions pretty clear with a mode actually called competitive and moving to 4v4 matches with supers happening once per match. It’s pretty obvious what their goal is.

Good job destiny isn't a competitive pvp game, phew! 😂

You fight against other players. It’s a competitive PVP game. Being an Esport isn’t a prerequisite for being a competitive game.

Sure, Destiny is casually competitive.
