Me as well. The RNG system is one of the worst I've seen in a game that isn't F2P.
The system should keep track of what you have and lower the chance that items you already have drop. Thereby increasing the chance for items you don't.
Example. While trying to get a Ghorn (I played since day 1 and never got one until the 2nd time Xur sold it which was a week before TTK dropped), I opened 14 Heavy Exotic engrams in 1 week. I got 13 Truths and 1 Nemesis Star. I got the Truth 13 TIMES IN A ROW. That should never happen. And I did not open them all in 1 sitting. It was spread throughout the week.
I had more playtime than any of the people in my static raid group, but they all had gotten the Ghorn multiple times. I never had 1 drop. My girlfriend had 8 at one point. To taunt me.
Not to mention the raid drops. Raid drops should work the same. Increase chance of the pieces you are missing or, like every other game with a raid, give a token from each boss. Once you get enough tokens, buy the raid gear you are missing. That is how EVERY OTHER GAME WITH A RAID WORKS.
