I loved D1 vanilla. Then came all the senseless nerfs, which ruined so many awesome weapons for the sake of pvp, because of Bungles inability to separate pve/pvp loadouts. It's a failed system which has eroded and devolved what could have been one of the greatest games of all time. So, until Bungle learns from it's blunders and fixes that one underlying problem with separation of pvp/pve, it will continue down the same path. A wise man once said that problems can't be solved by the same level of thinking that created them, so I doubt this will one one the greatest. With that said, I do love the fluid mechanics of the game. That's what keeps me playing. That, and I love when enemies explode when you kill 'em.

I'm pretty sure Destiny 2 is trying to solve all the problems Destiny 1 had, but we'll see.
