This wouldn't work.
Destiny's formula has no foundation for a stable trade economy. The entire game is built around optimizing your weapons/armor with a few cosmetic choices. That's all there is.
Trading would only serve to bypass grinding. That is not what a good trading system does.
Plus, you can guarantee that people will be selling things for real cash. You think people paying for Flawless was an issue? You ain't seen anything yet. It would be a mess.
Trading works in traditional MMO's because there are tons of other jobs and alternative needs for the items players can collect. This fuels the cycle of supply and demand that makes trading work.
Destiny needs to be WAY more fleshed out than what we've seen so far in order for trading to help the game rather than hurt it.
