The teaser trailer is a lie. It looks like fun is being had. Wait until you have a hand cannon in hand. You wont be able to one shot, then melee kill someone.. It will be more like, 10 shots fired, 3 melee's later.. is this -blam!-in guy dead yet?!?! kind of gameplay that will be going on.
Also, dont think you are getting that cool void energy weapon in the game. I don't think that will show up at all and there will be an armor set or two that won't appear either.. That's bungie vision for ya. Make things look great, then don't actually have it in the game at all. They done this since destiny year one.
So take the trailer for what it is. Hype!

I wish somebody would make a parody trailer, showing this guy walking into a wall while being meleed ten times to no effect. A kill notification coming in three seconds late. Players teleporting like taken, and shooting through walls......

You were able to one shot melee in the beta. Smh
-
I don't recall that ever happening. On pve enemies, yes, On pvp. No.
-
Headshot with hc and charged melee.
-
That's not a one shot melee! Perhaps research the term one shot?

Punctuation is a bitch. I ate a coma. Thing is the trailer didnt show 1 hk melee either.
-
umm 1:17 seconds in the competitive trailer shows a warlock shoot a Handcannon once and melee kill. I don't recall that ever happening one time in the beta. It was more like, shoot, melee, melee or shoot, melee shoot shoot.. Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMUJ61jT4eY

I THINK it was possible but Im not 100% sure. Btw when I said the trailer didnt have 1hk melee I meant no kills with only one melee on an undamaged otherwise player.

lol fair enough! I did a lot of tripple smacking in one on ones and we both still managed to run off to recover. It was reaching the point of slapstick comedy by the time I decided D2 PvP is going to be played only if Bungie somehow make it the only viable option for half the week. Oddly, with the way replay of quests and adventures seems to be explained, that may well actually be the case.
