There's really not any large community groups left after the disarray they've been left in over all these years. It's obvious Bungie intended for groups to be Destiny clans and that they are trying to promote in-game involvement. Clans won't protest because they are all online together, as such the in-game push for clan features, so I doubt this will go anywhere. We all know Reddit/Discord took over anyway... people will deal with the changes and continue to move on. I wish you luck on trying to save anything related to groups/Bnet old, though.

Edited by Ahhsenberg: 7/31/2017 8:51:49 PMI agreed with this thought when people started leaving for the Bnet.old remake site made by the old Flood community, but times have certainly changed since then. All that's really left for the community groups are a few Mythics/Bungie fanboys running around and a handful of newer tenured users in the OffTopic orientated groups. It's (mostly)dead, Jim.

Don't post such negative stuff man. Things can change. The community is still here. We just need to show the Web Team that.

Edited by Ahhsenberg: 7/31/2017 8:51:10 PMThings will only change when Bungie gets involved. They've made it abundantly clear that Destiny is their main focus ever since we switched sites. Titles haven't came back because they are at the bottom of the Web Team's list of things to do - Destiny features/maintenance adds to said list constantly keeping it down there. Group features aren't a concern unless they have something to do with Destiny. Leader-boards, clan tags, and linked-in features have proved to be more of a concern than group roles or group articles. Seeing a trend? Destiny is what it's all about. Have you seen any community tiered events like the Mail Sack lately? No? Just the occasional Raid-along that Cozmo would do in Destiny. The only notable thing that has been done for this community in the last 3-4 years is the release of a Bungie Podcast. Today I saw this post:
I feel I should add, that this is a problem from DeeJ down. He was asked in a Gamertag pod cast last week how he gets feedback on the game. His answer was NOT these forums. It was Streamers and leaders of huge clans, that is it. We have no voice when it comes to DeeJ. How does it feel to be a second class citizen?
If they still don't pay much attention to even the Destiny community and treat them like morons(so many examples in news updates), what chance do you think this irrelevant community has? Even when what was left of the more recognizable users grouped up in an attempt to change things it still didn't matter. The Community Managers ultimately shied away from the gatherings of the old community and people gave up. You are right about the community still being here, though. Even IF a lot of the users that remained have become inactive or semi-active(nice to see Burritio, Rollin, and Burn roam about). It's just that I've seen all of the efforts of the remainder of this community go to waste over all these years. There's no hope left in me. In my opinion, nothing will ever change until a Community Manager is assigned to interact with Bnet users and create things for the Seventh Column to become a true community again. Maybe people would come back and everyone wouldn't be as toxic anymore. *shrugs* Just a dream.
