Looking at the current information available regarding D2 clan migration, clan founders are faced with two options:
A. Delete their group and migrate their current clan to Destiny 2.
B. Delete their current clan, keep the group and have to start a new clan in Destiny 2.
Why is there no option to keep the bungie.net group and also be able to migrate the current clan to Destiny 2 without having to start a new one? Requiring the deletion of the bnet group in order to be able to migrate to Destiny 2 seems like a weird thing to force group founders to do in my opinion. My group for example has 180 members, 97 of which are in the clan. If I choose to migrate the clan to Destiny 2, people who are not in the clan will be removed from the group without being notified and the group will be deleted. If I choose to keep the group, I will have to make a new clan and invite all 97 clan members all over again which will take a lot of work. Why not just give me the option to migrate the 97 members to a Destiny 2 clan and still keep the group?

I hope this suggestion is looked at seriously since it will save founders of big groups a lot of headaches.
