Don't forget that weapon and armor choices will be locked out for many activities in D2!
Imagine how great it will be having to choose between a sniper, shotgun, fusion rifle, or rocket launcher for those bullet sponge bosses and guardians! You can only have 1!
Destiny is now a primary weapon based game.
Thanks to all of the crying "Nerf this, Nerf that" morons. You got your wish.
Imagine how great it will be having to choose between a sniper, shotgun, fusion rifle, or rocket launcher for those bullet sponge bosses and guardians! You can only have 1!
You just typed out exactly why I will be looking forward to it. I never had to put much thought into my gear in Destiny, and there will be slightly more importance placed on player choice of what they bring with them. That and this isn't really feedback. It's just spreading of misinterpreted information.
-
What they are? That actually sounds pretty awesome.
-
Loadout lock on "some" activities. Three man fireteam, 1 shotgun, 1 sniper, and 1 rocket. Look there all three power weapons in one activity. Just make sure you put the right teammate in the right role, prevent planning. Now that wasn't so hard was it. They are adjust dps and boss health btw.
-
ugh...this will only be for "some" activities, not "many" activities. And it will most likely be something like a modifier on a nightfall or a heroic raid or most likely trials. Not something that happens for everything.
-
Many? They said some. Stop crying.
-
There is nothing in place to prevent you from bringing a weapon inti an activity, just that you won't be able to switch your stuff after you've started it. This will be a modifier for end game content, as another way of making the PvE more challenging, which is something that many players have been asking for.
-
Locked load outs is the least of D2 problems by far.
-
What's next... Locked abilities Set weapons that you have to pick up off tge ground like Halo. Only 1 sniper if not 2 and 1 rocket launcher everybody rushes for? Removing sprint? When does this nonsense ever stop?
-
How exactly is this feedback btw?
-
The didn't say 'many' he actually said 'some'. There's a big difference.

Edited by Durandal: 7/26/2017 9:20:13 PMWe've gotten zero word on what will and won't have locked loadouts, let alone your derp of there being "many". Most likely it will be for trials and banner, and maybe the nightfall strike or lost sector encounters. Raids isn't doable since all people have to do is go to orbit a few at a time and change gear then load back in, and it makes no sense in normal story missions or strikes. This garbage right here is why this community is bad. Something gets communicated, sometimes poorly, then people like this guy goes full wharblegharble and says something that while loosely related to the original statement is a whole new brand of overreaction and derp, then people buy into the revised derp version and it spreads like wildfire, thus making the community look like overreacting ignorant dupes who just whine and whine about anything bungie does. Just stop with this cycle of garbage. It's ok to be concerned with what actually is said and presented to us, there is no reason to then make crap up and throw it out of proportion.
-
This is probably a nightfall modifier, mate. Chill...
-
Locked loadouts should've been a modifier on the occasional strike, not a full activity on it's own.
-
many
But that's completely wrong.
-
Or you know you can always just go to another activity, change loadout then rejoin.
-
Where can i read up on this?
