Things to love and hope to get patched

First I'd like to say it's good to have Destiny back in my life. I've had a ton of fun in the beta and look forward to further diving in come September. Now bungie, if you do read these the following are my personal take aways. PvP Feels balanced and comfortable. Destiny has always had the best shooting mechanics in any game and it shines in the crucible. I feel evenly matched in every 1 on 1 that happens and if I lose it's because I messed up. Very rarely do I come across a BS trade, it happens, but rarely. I like the longer build up to the special abilities. At least for the smaller 4v4 maps. It just fits and when I inevitably die from one I'm able to shrug it off and get back into the game because I know the likelyhood of it happening again from the same player is nonexistent. With bigger maps with more people I hope to have shorter cool downs to fit the size of the lobby. Just my personal wish, don't know if others agree. PvE Once again very solid. The mechanics of PvE were certainly perfected in the first Destiny and I am glad to see little has changed in that respect. I do hope to see variety in the strikes like from what we saw in the release of the Taken King. Different enemies spawning in different locations dealing different types of damage. Just to keep us on our toes and prevent the strikes from going stale. I'll touch more on weapons in a bit but in regards for PvE heavy weapon drops need to be more abundant, or the drops need to supply more ammo especially if sniper rifles and fusion rifles are now in the heavy weapon slot. I miss having a sniper rifle in my back pocket and I'm not too thrilled about this change. Weapon set up I don't like the separation of kinetic weapons and elemental weapons and I'm not thrilled about the recategorization of the heavies. I don't need to have two primaries equipped, regardless that one does void damage or the such. In the first Destiny I could have a set up that allowed me to effectively deal with enemies no matter their damage or shields. Arc auto rifle with my ice breaker and a void LMG is an example. With the new set up I have to switch out on the fly in the middle of the mission, causing a break in the action and a great deal of frustration on my side. And with how rare and how little ammo you get from heavy ammo drops, your energy weapon is the only counter to tougher enemies with exclusion to your grenades. While we are on the topic of grenades I'll say that I personally don't have an issue with the cool down times. Sure I wish they were faster or I could customize my armor to prioritize the cool down on my preferred ability, but as is at the moment I don't have any big gripes. Smg's and side arms are in need of a buff. They just don't hold a candle to auto rifles and hand cannons. I feel like a more accurate hip fire with the smg will clear that right up. Not sure what to do about the side arm. Gameplay I hope you guys at Bungie don't shy away from bringing back old content from the previous game. I loved prisoner of elders and I hope to see something similar return. And finally, if we are going to be replaying the same missions for the next few months we desperately need something to keep it from growing stale. Please surprise us. I'm rooting for you and want to see this game succeed. Can't wait to see how you surprise us.
